YG Entertainment's 10-member group, TREASURE

YG Entertainment's youngest boy group TREASURE rebooted. The new album was filled with songs that Yang Hyun-seok paid attention to overall album and were strongly colored by YG. His ambition to become a new YG representative is strong.

A press conference was held at YG's new building in Hapjeong-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul on the afternoon of the 28th to commemorate the release of TREASURE's second full-length album "REBOOT."

TREASURE, who made a comeback with "REBOOT" 10 months after "Hello," removed the teeniness of teenage boys and armed them with mature charm. As there have been many changes, including the withdrawal of members and changes in the group's color, attention was focused on the album name "Reboot" at the site.

Ji-hoon said, "It means restarting. Treasure previously pursued a lively, young, and sporty image, but three years after its debut, the members' internal and external sides grew. "I decided to do a 'reboot' to show you that," he said.

Yang Hyun-suk also actively participated in Treasure's album. Ji-hoon said, "The quality of the album improved as PD Yang Hyun-suk drew the overall picture and helped arrange the music. Many people will be satisfied," he said confidently, adding, "Let's put YG color on TREASURE" and "Let's show a new YG." It's a full-length album with that goal," he explained.

This album is the first album since members Bang Ye-dam and Mashiho left the team in November last year and reorganized into a 10-member group. After receiving a question, Ji-hoon said, "I prepared it with a strong sense of responsibility," and Choi Hyun-seok replied, "Since it's a full-length album, I think the 10 of us focused on making songs and performances."

The title song "BONA BONA" unravels the message "Born To Love You," which penetrates the theme of fateful attraction, with TREASURE's own cheerful language. The strong brass sound of the chorus and drum beats reminiscent of a marching band were harmonized to express TREASURE's "REBOOT" to move forward with confidence.

Choi Hyun-seok said, "When you hear the title, you may wonder what it means. Think of it as onomatopoeia. "Born to Love You" has an interesting nuance. "Beatwise, it's dreamy in the beginning, but in the chorus, it's like a group singing and YG." DOYOUNG added, "As soon as I heard the title songs, I felt like YG, and I thought it was TREASURE-like, so I thought it fits the title song well."

The high level of participation of the members is also noticeable. Rappers Choi Hyun-seok, Yoshi, and Haruto helped with several songs, including the title song. Yoshi and Asahi participated in writing and composing "STUPID" and "Byeong," respectively, while Jun-kyu was listed on the title track, "MOVE (T5), "I WANT YOUR LOVE" and "B.O.M.B."

Regarding the track "Twit," Yoshi said, "It's the first song I participated in. During the tour last year, I thought it would be nice to have an exciting and addictive song. There was a verse 1, and I developed the song during the tour and made it. He said, "I expressed the regret that made the other person leave as a fool."

TREASURE's sincerity to be the best is contained in the track "G.O.A.T." (The Greatest Of All Time). Choi Hyun-seok wrote, "Let's be goats." We're not "gots" yet, so we want to be. Lee Young-hyun featured in it, and it became a song that fits the title better," he said.

TREASURE successfully completed its 40 performances in 17 cities this year. It recently signed a partnership with Columbia Records, a major U.S. record label, and announced its entry into the world's largest North American music market.

Ji-hoon said, "There are countless goals for this year. He said his goal was to perform at the dome when he debuted, but he achieved it this time. I will try to stand at the stadium now. During the Asian tour, I found out that there were many overseas fans. It can be said that entering North America is to enter North America. "I think I can realize more and make good music," he said.

Finally, Choi Hyun-seok said, "Starting with this reboot, I intend to develop more in the future and I am making efforts. "I don't know what we'll show you in the future right now, but I really want to tell you that we'll upgrade by climbing stairs one by one without stopping," he added.

Meanwhile, Treasure's second full-length album "REBOOT" will be released at 6 p.m. on the 28th.
